Grand Theft Auto IV hits the internet, Microsoft investigating

So a pirated copy of the PAL (Australia, New Zealand, and the EU) version of Grand Theft Auto IV - in part, the subject of the cover story of this week's Phoenix - hit the internet last night. Presumably, someone leaked an advance review copy (don't look at us, we haven't even gotten it yet.)

But here's the thing: the people who are playing it illegally - some of them, at least - are not too smart.

San Francisco to honor President George W. Bush

That is actually not a joke. A group of folks in the ultra-leftist California city would like to honor our current president. And they hope to do it by naming a city building after him.

A sewage treatment facility.

"The local grassroots movement, helmed by 'Wayne Pickering,' is proposing an ordinance initiative for the November 2008 San Francisco ballot in order to get the poop/pee/vomit plant's title changed.

OiNK shut down!

Hot on the heels of the news that TV Links UK was shut down over the weekend comes word that OiNK, the torrent site on which hundreds of thousands of people were downloading albums ranging from the classics to stuff that won't even be released for about another six months, was shut down by English and Dutch police forces, who also arrested the site's 24-year-old proprietor

The complete Guitar Hero 3 tracklist may have leaked

Dragonforce, "Through the Fire and Flames (Guitar Hero 3)"

Some site called Megatonik is claiming to have the complete set list from the upcoming Guitar Hero 3. Looks to be in line with everything we've heard about the game so far.

That last level looks sick to us: "Number of the Beast," "Raining Blood," "One," and for the finale, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia."

50 Cent has taken his (somewhat one-sided, as far as we can tell) feud with Kanye West to another level: if Graduation outsells Curtis on September 11th (the day they both come out in stores), then 50 Cent is going to stop making albums
