Former Red Sox reliever gets 14 years
Ugueth Urbina, who made the All-Star team when he was the Red Sox's closer in 2002, has been sentenced to 14 years in jail for his role in the attempted murder of 14 workers on his ranch in Venezuela. You'll recall Urbina and co. reportedly attacked the workers with fire and a machete after finding out that one of them may or may not have stolen one of his guns.
