So, um... Shitaly tonight in Cambridge

We honestly have no idea what to expect when Shitaly takes the stage (couch?) tonight at Enormous Room in Central Square for the annual Winter Solstice Party, a John Flax (aka DJ Ectocooler) tradition that began a few years ago when the Vandelles sonically destroyed the Oxfam Cafe at Tufts.

But we're told Shitaly sound something like "goth-prog," and we wouldn't be surprised if we were sitting here this time next year writing about how goth-prog totally replaced witch haus as the coolest thing ever in 2k11. What is surprising, however, is that my Uncle Lonnie is really offended by the band name. Dude needs to chill.

Anyway, to get us all worked up, here's a taste of Shitaly (ha!) from Soundcloud, though they might sound totally different later on. That's cool, that's how Shitaly rolls.
