British punk legends The Godfathers played a high-energy show to a small but enthusiastic crowd at Johnny D's in Somervile Wednesday night. The stop was one of only 10 dates on their first US tour since 2009. The set list included 1987's college radio hit 'Birth School Work Death' as well as a few new songs from a soon-to-be-released studio album, including the newly released single 'Back Into the Future.'
