Called “Desandann” by their countrymen, the Creole Choir of Cuba are indeed descendants of the first Creole slaves transported from Haiti to Cuba. These days they sing and dance in mesmerizing performances accompanied by Afro-Cuban percussion. They bring their deep-roots tradition to Somerville Theatre.
