When we heard that Born of Fire’s Zack Wells was teaming up with a Masscore supergroup — three-quarters of Overcast, members of Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall — to form Death Ray Vision, we were amped. When we heard they’d be debuting said band at New England Hardcore & Metal Festival, we were further psyched. They couldn’t wait to unleash their musical fury till the ’fest, however, so they snuck in a show at the Vegas Lounge in Lunenburg, robbing us of the chance to see this shit first. We forgive them, though, because we’re pretty sure they’ll still be ear-shreddingly fresh for their second ever gig tonight.
